In Montana, where the program launched in 2005, young people’s attitudes toward Meth are changing. Montana teens and young adults have come to view Meth as more dangerous and recognize the Montana Meth Project as a key source of information about the drug.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...

  • I just wanted to say your ads are making a difference!! There is a billboard ad right outside a rehab center that I went through and still have a service commitment at twice a week. It's the one with a jail cell on it. It's a great reminder for those that are in that rehab center where they, as well as myself, can be if we decide to pick up again!! I also have seen an ad on T.V. They are very in your face and surreal!! That's what people like me need for a reminder. Thanks!!!!!
  • My 17 yr old daughter showed me something this past weekend that has changed my life and hopefully will change the lives of others. She showed me your website! She admitted to me that she was thinking about experimenting with mind altering drugs, many of her friends have already done so. Then she discovered your site and it changed her mind and hopefully her life forever! I am a substance abuse counselor in the New York State and was bowled over with your work.
  • I live in Texas. I watched all of the ads you have on your site. They are disturbing and nauseating. I want my kids and every other child in my state to see them! It's time to stop being "politically correct" and let the kids know (see) the truth. There have been too many years wasted watching out for hurt feelings and not being straightforward and honest because some might be offended. Oh well! Drugs (Meth) are something the kids think can't hurt them. . . "just once". Facts are facts. They have to live in the real world like the rest of us. We can't clean it up and make it pretty for them and protect them from reality like so many try to do. What we can do, is what you are doing. Inform them. Give them the real facts, be there for them and guide them through. I think what you are doing is great. I'd like to see these ads in each and every state.
  • I just finished watching, in succession mind you, all of the Meth ads on the website. Wow! These were amazing! I will occasionally see one Meth billboard, or one Meth magazine ad and they are usually pretty tame, but your 30-second videos just blew me away! If Michigan has any plans similar to yours, I think that is a great foothold towards combating this threat. I wish you and your organizations the very best of luck in all your endeavors!
